Content Browser

For Admins

A unified view of all your community's content — documents, posts, events, notices, and resources.

Last updated: 2/10/2026

The Content Browser gives you a single place to view and manage all content across your community portal. Instead of navigating to each content type separately, you can see everything at a glance.

Accessing the Content Browser

Navigate to Admin > Content to open the Content Browser.

Content Tabs

The browser organizes content into tabs by type:

TabContent TypeDescription
DocumentsFiles & linksGoverning documents, minutes, reports
PostsArticlesNews, updates, community stories
EventsCalendar itemsMeetings, socials, deadlines
NoticesAnnouncementsOfficial notices, alerts, reminders
ResourcesLinks & filesUseful links, external resources

Click any tab to filter the view to that content type. Each tab shows a count of items.

Search & Filter

Use the search bar at the top of the Content Browser to find content by title or description. Search works across all content types or within the currently selected tab.

Filters

Narrow down your content using the available filters:

  • Status — Published, draft, or archived
  • Category — Filter by content category
  • Visibility — Filter by visibility level (public, members, board, etc.)
  • Date range — Find content created or updated within a specific period

Managing Content

Creating Content

Click the Create button in the top right to add new content. You'll be prompted to select the content type, then taken to the appropriate creation form.

Editing Content

Click any content item to open it for editing. Each content type has its own edit form with type-specific fields.

Bulk Operations

Select multiple items using the checkboxes to perform bulk actions:

  • Delete — Move selected items to trash
  • Change visibility — Update visibility level for all selected items
  • Change category — Move items to a different category

Pagination

Large content libraries are paginated. Use the page controls at the bottom to navigate through your content. The default view shows 20 items per page.

Content Status

Each piece of content has a status:

StatusDescription
PublishedVisible to users based on its visibility level
DraftOnly visible to admins, not yet published
ArchivedHidden from regular views but still accessible

Best Practices

💡
Regular content maintenance

Review your content monthly to archive outdated items, update stale information, and ensure visibility settings are correct. A clean content library is easier for residents to navigate.

  • Use consistent naming conventions for documents (e.g., "2026-01 Board Meeting Minutes")
  • Categorize all content — uncategorized items are harder for residents to find
  • Set appropriate visibility levels to avoid showing sensitive content to the wrong audience
