Your homepage is the first thing residents see when they visit your portal. Configure it to welcome your community and highlight the most important information.
Accessing Homepage Settings
Navigate to Admin > Settings > Homepage to configure your homepage sections.
Hero Section
The hero section is the large banner at the top of your homepage. It sets the tone for your entire portal.
Hero Title
A short, welcoming headline for your community. Examples:
- "Welcome to Sunset Valley"
- "Your Lakewood Community Portal"
Hero Subtitle
A brief description that appears below the title. Use this to communicate what residents can do on the portal. Example:
- "Access documents, stay informed about community events, and connect with your board."
Hero Image
An optional background or feature image for the hero section. A high-quality photo of your community, common areas, or neighborhood works well.
Recommended specifications:
- Format: JPG or PNG
- Size: 1920x800px or similar wide aspect ratio
- File size: Under 2MB for fast loading
About Section
The about section lets you share a brief description of your community. This is a good place to include:
- A short history or description of your association
- The number of units or homes
- Key amenities or features of your community
- Your association's mission or values
Community Information
Display practical information that residents frequently look for:
- Address — Your community's physical address
- Office hours — When the management office or clubhouse is open
- Contact details — Phone number and email for general inquiries
Keep it current
Review your homepage content quarterly to make sure all information is accurate, especially office hours and contact details that may change seasonally.
Featured Image
A featured image can be displayed alongside your about section. Choose an image that represents your community well — aerial views, community amenities, or common areas all work nicely.
Best Practices
- Be concise — Residents scan, they don't read long paragraphs. Keep your hero text under 20 words.
- Highlight value — Your subtitle should tell residents what they can do, not just what the portal is.
- Use quality images — A single great photo is better than multiple mediocre ones.
- Mobile first — Preview how your homepage looks on a phone. Most residents will access the portal from mobile devices.
